Hydro-pneumatic accumulator AS 0100 is mainly dedicated to pulsation dampening in hydraulic circuit (caused by a pump for instance) or to transfer a pressure between two incompatible fluids (like hydraulic fluid and sea water for example). It is delivered either non-charged, or pre-charged with nitrogen to the desired and ordered pressure. Technology:

AS hydraulic accumulators consist of two hemispherical carbon steel shells which are screwed together and which hold a diaphragm. The elastomer diaphragm has a metal stud which closes off the operation hole when the fluid is completely discharged. There is therefore no danger of damage to the diaphragm. Type of elastomer and inside coating determine allowable working fluids. It is mineral-based hydraulic oil as a standard, but the accumulator can be adopted to work with water, diesel fuel, gasoline or even ethylene oxide. ARCOR^® anti corrosion treatment is available on request. Charging and gauging can be done with VGL 4 or CGLU 4F. The gas side port is fitted with a charging valve allowing the pressure in the accumulator to be checked or changed.

Safety:

Hydro-pneumatic accumulators are gas pressure vessels falling within a directive 97/23/CE. According to applications, additional technical inspection UDT(Urzad Dozoru Technicznego) or TDT (Transportowy Dozor Techniczny) is required in Poland.
Hydraulic accumulators of less than 1 litre capacity are supplied with manufacturer's certificate. They cannot be marked CE but conform to the CE directive. Hydro-pneumatic accumulators of 1 litre capacity and more are supplied with a CE certificate of conformity. They are CE marked and relevant document refers to the official organisation certifying their conformity.
If it is required, the accumulators can be delivered with additional certificates of independent organisations like: ASAP, APAVE, TUV, VERITAS, ABS, DNV, Lloyd etc.
